- Water 750 ml
- Pot. Permanganate 0.25 g
- Sulphuric Acid (conc.) 1.5 ml
- Water to make 1.0 L
- Part B
- Water 750 ml
- Amm. Persulfate 25 g
- Water to make 1.0 L

Please note this safety rule: Always add acid
to water, never water to acid.
Mix one part of Solution A with 3 parts of Solution B. When reduction has
gone far enough, pour out the reducer and cover the negative/s with a 1
% solution of sodium bisulfite to clear it/them. |
