Hypo alum Toner ( Sepia )
- Cold water :- 700ml
- Sodium thiosulphate anhydrous :- 120 grammes Dissolve thoroughly, then add this solution :
- Water at 70 C :- 200ml
- Potassium alum crystal :- 30 grammes Slowly add the following, you must include the milk-like precipitate, while stirring rapidly :
- Cold water :- 20ml.
- Silver Nitrate crystal :- 1 gramme.
- Sodium Chloride :- 1 gramme.
- Water to :- 1000ml.
This is a single solution toner. Prints take on a chocolate brown tone after approx. 12 - 15 minutes. Do not use this toner over 49 C
