2 solution pyro developer

  • Solution A
  • Pyrogallol :- 50 gramme's
  • Potassium metabisulphite :- 50 gramme's
  • Sodium Sulphite, anhydrous:- 125 gramme's
  • Water to :- 1000ml.

  • Solution B
  • Sodium Carbonate, anhydrous :- 75 gramme's
  • Water to :- 1000ml.

For use take one part A, one part B and four parts water. Experiment with development times between 6 and 7 minutes.

This developer gives negatives that exhibit delicate graduation and good detail. It has to be stored as a two part developer as in single solution its keeping properties are very poor.
